Role: System Administrator (1-2 yrs) | Location: Bangalore | Type: Permanent

Job Overview: As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive technical support to all employees within the organization. This role includes configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting a variety of devices and systems, ensuring seamless operations across our IT infrastructure. You will play a critical role in managing hardware and software, coordinating with vendors, and supporting end-users to resolve technical issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Laptop Configuration: Setup and configure laptops with both Windows and Mac operating systems according to company standards.
  2. Laptop Reimaging: Reimage laptops for new users or to resolve issues, ensuring all necessary software and updates are correctly installed.
  3. Hardware Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and repair hardware issues related to laptops, desktops, and other peripherals, ensuring minimal downtime for users.
  4. Software Installation: Install, configure, and update software applications required by employees to perform their job functions.
  5. Wi-Fi Troubleshooting: Provide support for Wi-Fi connectivity issues, ensuring stable and secure network access for all users.
  6. Printer Configuration: Configure and maintain printers, troubleshoot printing issues, and ensure all devices are properly connected to the network.
  7. Asset Management: Track and manage IT assets, including hardware, software licenses, and other resources, maintaining accurate inventory records.
  8. Video Conferencing Support: Set up and support video conferencing systems, ensuring that meetings are conducted smoothly with minimal technical issues.
  9. Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive Configuration: Configure and troubleshoot Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive for end-users, ensuring proper integration and functionality.
  10. Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with external vendors for the purchase, repair, and maintenance of IT equipment, ensuring timely delivery and service.
  11. IT Asset Purchase: Assist in the procurement of IT assets, ensuring that all purchases meet company requirements and budget constraints.
  12. License Management: Manage the purchasing, renewal, and tracking of software licenses, ensuring compliance with licensing agreements.
  13. Basic Firewall Knowledge: Assist in managing firewall settings and configurations to maintain network security and integrity.
  14. End-User Support: Provide day-to-day technical support to end-users, resolving IT-related issues efficiently and professionally.
  15. Device Management: Handle and troubleshoot devices such as Wi-Fi routers, headsets, connectors, Jabra speakers, and other peripherals.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in IT support or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac OS.
  • Experience with hardware troubleshooting and repair.
  • Familiarity with network configurations and basic firewall management.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
