JP Morgan has deployed its AI assistant, LLM Suite, to over 60,000 employees. The LLM helps in generic tasks like writing emails and domain-specific tasks like meeting prep for customer meetings. Morgan Stanley has introduced Debrief, an AI tool to help financial advisors summarize conversations and compose the first draft of emails. These large and significant implementations will expand across organizations and provide opportunities for technical, analytical, and HR roles. As AI takes over routine and repetitive tasks, these roles can evolve to focus on more complex, strategic, and human-centric responsibilities.
Strategic Workforce Planners and Recruiters must fundamentally rethink how we approach the concept of Soft Skills, also referred to as Power Skills. As Human-Machine interactions become increasingly central to the workplace, more than the traditional definitions of soft skills are required. Instead, we need to develop a reimagined Soft Skills library that reflects the demands of this new era. This library should not only encompass the interpersonal and emotional intelligence skills that have always been valued but also include capabilities that enable employees to effectively collaborate with and leverage technology.
As a result, we at Draup looked at this problem from a Machine-Human interaction standpoint as applicable in the Digital/Gen AI age. It connects each skill to measurable attributes that align with human-machine collaboration, ethical practices, and innovation. The focus is ensuring these skills are adaptable and relevant in an AI-enhanced environment.

Draup will be publishing a detailed white paper on the same.
