Power Plant Surveillance Using Drones
  1. Orano adopted Azur Drones, which makes recycled nuclear fuel sites safer by deploying Skeyetech autonomous surveillance UAV solution to protect a huge site. Azur drones coordinate with on-ground security teams for Orano to maintain 24-7 surveillance over the highly sensitive site. Skeyetech autonomous drones fly daily surveillance and inspection missions and are directly controlled by security teams using high-definition optical and thermal sensors.
Plant Inspection Robots
  1. Orano introduced regulatory inspections of the NUHOMS-used nuclear fuel dry storage facilities. The inspection team used two robots where the slim delivery robot carried the smaller crawler robot that was then raised to the used fuel canisters side, detached, and adhered with suction while moving and visually examining the surface of the canister for any indications of SCC.
