Tuscon Raytheon won a contract to develop an air-launched, hypersonic cruise missile for the U.S. Air Force, beating out two competitors. United States Army awards AeroVironment USD 20.6 Mn Switchblade 300 tactical missile systems contract 
AeroVironment received the contract from the U.S. Army Tactical Aviation and Ground Munitions project office for the procurement of Switchblade 300 tactical missile systems.
