About the Role
At Draup, the Harvester team plays a key role in gathering large-scale data from a wide range of public sources. This data powers our platform’s machine learning models and strategic insights used by global enterprises.
As a Associate Product Manager – Technical, you’ll support the development and improvement of our data extraction systems. You’ll collaborate with engineering and data teams to help deliver product features, maintain documentation, and keep things moving smoothly. This role is perfect for someone early in their product journey who’s eager to learn and grow in a technical environment.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with Requirements: Help collect and organize product requirements from internal stakeholders.
- Translate Needs to Tasks: Support the creation of clear and actionable user stories and documentation for the engineering team.
- Collaborate with Tech Teams: Work alongside engineers and data scientists to understand how things work and help with testing and tracking progress.
- Support Product Development: Help monitor ongoing tasks, coordinate with team members, and assist with feature testing and rollout.
- Maintain Documentation: Keep product and process documentation up to date and easy to understand.
- Coordinate Meetings: Support sprint planning, team check-ins, and backlog grooming sessions.
- Learn & Grow: Build your product thinking and technical knowledge through hands-on experience and mentorship.
Who You Are
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. An MBA with strong technical understanding is also welcome.
- 1–2 years of experience in a product management, business analyst, or similar role.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proactive, organized, and eager to work across teams.
- Comfortable with basic technical concepts and interested in backend systems and data platforms.
Bonus if You Have
- Knowledge of querying databases using SQL, NOSQL or similar tools.
- Exposure to data ingestion, web scraping, or large-scale backend systems.
- Familiarity with tools or platforms like JIRA, Airflow, Redis, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, or Puppeteer/Playwright.
- Experience working in Agile environments or using task-tracking tools like Confluence and JIRA.
