L3Harris wins a contract to apply AI to remotely sensed data. L3Harris will develop and demonstrate an AI-machine learning interface for Defense Department applications under the multimillion-dollar contract.

BAE Systems wins contracts to develop US Army manned unmanned teaming technologies for USD 9.0 Mn. BAE Systems will develop human-machine interface, platform resource capability management and situational awareness management technologies.

Duncan Aviation collaborates with Gulfstream Aerospace for Gogo AVANCE L5 STC. This collaboration will develop a full-equipment supplemental type certificate (STC) for the Gogo Business Aviation AVANCE L5 Wi-Fi system (for the Gulfstream G200 and Galaxy airplanes).

Turkish defense firm ASELSAN inks $140 mn export deal. ASELSAN provides turnkey solutions, including design, development, production, integration, modernization and post-purchase services in various fields such as military and civil communication, radar, and electronic warfare.

Lockheed Martin partners with Saudi Arabia’s King Abdul Aziz University (KAU). The international master technical research cooperation agreement with KAU will focus on research and development initiatives to support Saudi Vision 2030 by engaging Saudi scientists and engineers to advance the country’s strategic priorities.

ESA awards €1.33 billion to Thales and Airbus for Copernicus. The European Space Agency (ESA) has signed up for three new Copernicus environmental missions. The three contracts will focus on sustainable agricultural and biodiversity management, measure sea-surface temperature, and carry a sensor to deliver observations of land-surface temperature.

Northrop Grumman awarded more flights in CRS-2 contract. Northrop Grumman awarded more flights in CRS-2 contract. The additional flights to the orbiting laboratory will provide cargo delivery and disposal vehicle services and serve as a platform for science and technology research and development opportunities.
