What Our Strategy Lead will do
As Strategy Lead, we are seeking a highly skilled individual to lead strategic and tactical initiatives that require advanced modeling capabilities, effective communication through technical documents, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams. This role will involve driving innovation, conducting secondary research, developing technical white papers, and working alongside Engineering, Machine Learning (ML), and Data Science teams to develop impactful solutions and features aligned with Draup’s vision.
Responsibilities as a Strategy Lead- Data Solutions
1. Strategic & Tactical Initiative Leadership
- Drive both strategic and tactical initiatives that require the development of complex models and innovative data-driven solutions.
- Lead the creation of whitepapers, approach documents, and other technical documentation focused on platform capabilities and data offerings.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Machine Learning, and Data Science, to ensure alignment with Draup’s feature roadmap and product development goals.
- Identify opportunities for the expansion of the product and data offerings through collaborative ideation and experimentation
2. Research and Data Exploration
- Conduct secondary research to identify new data sources and develop innovative use cases for data-driven insights.
- Analyze the Strategic Workforce Landscape and contribute to the development of solutions that leverage workforce data, skills, and talent analytics (prior experience in this area is preferred).
3. Collaboration and Cross-Functional Work
- Collaborate effectively with Engineering, ML, and Data Science teams to ensure proper execution of complex modeling and feature development.
- Leverage data modeling, statistical analysis, and analytical tools (SQL, PowerBI, Python – optional) to provide actionable insights and support decision-making.
4. Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor a team of Analysts and Research Executives, ensuring quality validation of models and data samples.
- Provide guidance in developing processes to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and relevance of research and modeling efforts.
5. Technical Documentation Expertise
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of technical documentation related to platform functionalities and data exchange capabilities.
Recommended Experience
- Require a Lead Analyst/Senior Platform Consultant (3-5 Exp) to drive platform and data innovation who has prior experience in strategic planning and in developing product requirements. A background in the Strategic Workforce Landscape and talent analytics will be highly advantageous.
- Experience in leading a team of Analysts and Research Executives, with a focus on data validation and sample analysis.
