How the Recruitment teams should be set up?

Many companies have Technical Recruiting teams but with Digital gaining such importance there are now discussions around if the teams should further specialize. (Cybersecurity, AI/ML  and so on).  A lot would depend on the volume but there are some benefits in this model.  We will continue to examine this

  • In the reskilling world, there are many questions how to reskill within a vertical. For example, how can we take an entry level data scientist to staff level and principal level etc. Focusing on this will mean we need to extract relevant market data on what companies are doing on this front.  We are quite excited to go deeper in this area
  • One new model we are being asked to review is to identify the life cycle of startups where they become potential candidates for targeting for talent.  For example, a startup raises Series A and have built a decent workforce but delays in getting Series B may mean they are struggling.  Identifying this life cycle may further open up opportunities to hire
  • From a site selection standpoint, we discussed a few topics around how to reimagine location parameters.  For example we may have to look into the following
    • How are peers growing in a given location?.
    • Have they been successful or are they struggling?
    • Have they started with one priority and now using the location for some other reason?
  • Analyzing a location from this lens will yield some interesting insights and we will be doing the same moving forward
